Uncatchable (Leap/Climb) - This monster automatically breaks away and ignores the effects of monsters, victims,  hindering terrain, and outdoor blocking  terrain for movement purposes.
Skulk (Invisible) - This monster can't be targeted by ranged combat attacks and does not block line of fire.
Ladykiller (Prey) - When this monster slays a female victim, you may turn its dial to the red starting line and flip this card.

Sculpt - 8
The sculpt of Jack the Ripper won’t make you scream wow in amazement, but it is unique and clever nonetheless.  Jack is dressed in an old brown suit with a top hat and trench coat.  He is carrying a doctor’s bag in one hand and a knife in the other.  This sounds kind of boring, but what makes it cool is that he is standing over a woman that he has just murdered.  The woman has blond hair and is dressed in a white bra and panties, with stocking straps and black hooker boots.  It’s just another day, and another sexy slain woman for Jack. 

Stats / Abilities – 7.5
Jack is a special monster because of his ability to flip his card multiple times in a game.  Each time Jack slays a female victim, the owner can choose to flip the card over and turn Jack’s dial to the red or green starting line (depending which side the card is on).  This can really turn a game around if it is timed right. 
      On the green side of the card, Jack’s movement is average at 5, but the leap/climb ability helps him out.  His attack rating is good, starting at 10 and going up to 12.  Defense is also good at 17 and has the ability to add an action token instead of dealing damage to a monster, which I rarely find useful.  Damage is fair at 2 and 3 throughout the dial. 
      The red side of Jack’s dial is the more powerful side.  Here we find 2 more clicks of life, and the spree ability on the first 3 clicks.  With 2 or 3 women slain, Jack can deal out some serious damage (up to 5)!  Jack’s defense starts at 17 on this side of the dial but drops each click, however he has a dodge ability to help him avoid attacks. 
      Jack also adds 2 plot twists to your crypt, which is always welcome!

Game Play – 8.5
Jack is definitely a lot of fun to play.  You’ll want to bring all female victims to the game, so you can flip his card/dial when needed.  It’s fun to run up to a monster, do some damage, and then leap away to slay a victim, get full health, and come back even stronger!  It’s also very frustrating to your opponent, which makes it even more fun.  It may take a few games to develop a good strategy with Jack, but once you do he’s a strong monster for 110 points. 

Summary
Jack the Ripper is a cool looking monster and a lot of fun to play.  He can deal some major damage if you have patience and can definitely be the deciding factor for beating your opponent late in the game.
