Review: by Ghost Man
Here is another sure-win player favorite.
Yama is said to have been the first human to die, thusly, gaining the Lord of the Dead in Hindu society and much of the Far East. He is also the Guardian of the South who wears red clothing, in the same cultures. He is said to carry a length of rope, which he uses to lasso souls for the corpses.
Well, in this sculpture, Yama has gone on vacation to the Fair, has traded his red robes, for a clown suit, and his rope for a pie and bomb. Gazing upon him from the front, he appears jovial and ready for a good laugh, perched there balanced on his ball. Then you ominously realize that there is nothing behind that maniacal smile. In fact there is nothing behind any part of the mask!! If you have seen all this, it is too late for you. You are in his range!
Yama gives us a wicked new power… Hit and Run, which allows you to make a ranged attack, after moving Yama. He starts out with a speed value of 8, and a range of 4. Combining them gives you an effective range of 12! Now take into consideration that he also has Deadshot (Banana Cream Pow!), and an attack value of 10. So to sum up Yama’s opening offensive power, He’ll move into your range, more than likely hit you, and do 3 damage, without the aid of a single victim. Use him again on your next turn to do 5 with Deadshot.
He alternates between Deadshot and Accuracy all the way down is thick 8 clix dial. He keeps a strong, fast attack along the way, and will do enough damage to simply send in the cleaning crew, once Yama has made his way across the map.
There is very little weakness to be found in Yama. Out ranging him may be the only way to keep him down, but you better not miss! If you do hit, then he has Dodge (Balance Ball) on every click.
If you see him… run! |
