Santa's chest heaved with a sigh as he compared the "nice" and "naughty" lists for the year. The nice list was getting smaller and smaller each year. Checking the calendar, Santa noted there were still three months before Christmas; he rose from his chair and pulled one of the ever-present candy canes off his ever green tree. As he began grinding it down to a sharp point, he thought happily of all the converts who would thank him later. |
