Review: by Nate "RedNinja" Gleason 9/10 - The first two HorrorClix Plot Twists - 'Trip' and 'Broke a Heel'- are perfect examples of what makes a great Plot Twist These two cards carry a useful effect that isn't left to a die roll, nor are they preventable. Although they are kept in check by targeting specific genders, the fact that we have one for both genders means that we can choose victims of that gender exclusively and have the card be useful at least a fourth of the time.
Now - this alone makes them playable, but by no means worth a high score when Plot Twists that let you move the victim yourself exist. What makes at least one of these cards essential is having a great ability along with it's second ability - allowing you to reroll a failed attack roll. In many situations, a single attack can make or break a game - it's great to have one or two of these to fall back on.
Combining an effective effect with the reroll ability, these are the best of the Base Set 'reroll' cards.
