Scenario #8: The Elder’s Request Part-1

Background


As soon as you had killed the traitor who surrendered to the humans, you quickly received word from the Elders that one of the initiation hunt temples, holding a xenomorph queen, had gone out of control. The xenomorph drones had killed the young hunters sent there and the Queen now risks escape. The Elders request that you contain this outbreak, and restore order in the temple. Since the last initiation hunt at the temple was such a failure, a group of unblooded young hunters will be accompanying you to help clean up and earn there status as a hunter. Wipe out all drones on the upper level, a then proceed to deal with the Queen.

Objective


Primary Objective:

Kill all Alien type monsters in your opponent’s Prey Army (100 Honor Points).

Secondary Objective:

Have each of the bonus Predators given this scenario kill at least one alien type monster each. (80 Honor Points)

Army Size

Predator Army:

Starting Predator + 3 non-unique bonus Predators, 60 Honor Points for saving/spending (+ any carryover Called in Reinforcements / Upgrades).

Prey Army:

500 points composed of Aliens (xenomorphs) (No Queen) (4 actions per turn)

Time Limit

120 minutes

Map

Pyramid: Upper Level (AvP Aliens Map)

Setup

Place the sliding wall tokens on the map (follow standard wall token rules). Each player places 4 victims on the map, each player alternates in the placing of victims on blood spots, suggest using AvP scientist victims. Both players place Shrine and Predator Army on any of the squares in the vertical lines S and T. Alternate placement of Shrine and Predator Army Monsters with opponent. Both players place Prey Army on any of the squares in the vertical lines A and B. Alternate placement of Prey Army monsters.

Special Scenario Rules

The Hunt:

After a Predator kills a monster it is considered blooded, regardless of whether or not it collects the skull

No Eyes:

No Predator may use hidden movement in this scenario.

Eager Youths:

All bonus Predators modify their attack value by +1 and defense value by -2.

Learning Experience:

Each time a Predator kills a monster, permanently modify its attack value by +1.
