Justin Vanderhoff presents...
Campground Carnage
A Horrorclix Scenario by Mad Jack
:
Background:
Justin Vanderhoff, the “Campground Killer,” is
throwing a party of his own. He has invited his
favorite monsters to join him in raiding the snowed-in
cabins on the shore of Butcher’s Lake. But when the
monsters gather to mingle and plan their raid, they
are shocked to find their host facing off against… himself! Is it secret government cloning? A copycat
imposter? Or is that dream-slasher Frankie Kilgore
just messing around again? Very swiftly sides are
taken and a challenge is issued: the real Justin will
prove himself as only he could – with the greatest
bloodbath Butcher’s Lake has ever seen!
Objective:
Each player aims to defeat all others.
Army Size:
300 points
Time Limit:
90 minutes
Map:
Abandoned Whaling Station (AVP: Predator Set).
If
this map is not available, the Crumbling Mausoleum can
be used, treating all gray tiles as indoor areas.
Setup:
Each player’s army must include one (and only one)
Chainsaw.
Special Scenario Rules:
Nonstop Carnage:
When Chainsaw slays a victim or kills a monster, clear
it of all action tokens.
A Master of the Art:
Chainsaw earns double points for slaying victims.
Do It With Style:
Any victim slain in an indoors area is worth 25 bonus
points. (These bonus points are not doubled when
Chainsaw slays the victim.)
No Rest for the Wicked:
If Chainsaw is killed, it remains on the map, the
first click of skulls showing. It should be marked
with a death token (such as a gravestone 3D object) so
that it is clearly marked as dead. Other monsters may
now move through its space, but may not end movement
on its space. It is not affected by
any powers, cannot be attacked or given any action,
and clears any action tokens it had when it was
killed.
At the beginning of your turn, your dead Chainsaw
heals one click and you may choose to remove its death
token. If you do, you can assign it an action that
turn as normal, and it is treated as a normal, living
monster for all purposes (including being worth normal
points if killed again). A dead Chainsaw with any
hourglasses showing does not take damage during its
turn.
What Are Friends For?:
While Chainsaw is dead, you may choose to give any
adjacent friendly monster a move action of zero
spaces. If you do, that monster takes 1 unpreventable
damage and Chainsaw heals one click.
