Background:
The first murders looked like atrocities to the police
of Littleburg – teenagers slaughtered up on Makeout
Point and butchered at their furtive keg-parties. Soon
it was clear that Littleburg had a serial killer – or
worse, a slasher! Desperate to capture the killer, the
police have set a trap. They’re on the hunt all over
town, wherever teens may gather out from under
parental scrutiny, and in the old cemetery they’ve hit
paydirt. Somewhere in the dark and the fog, terrified
screams announce that they’ve found their killer at
last.
Or, as it turns out, killers. Little did the sleepy
town’s police realize that they’d stumbled into a war
between rival slashers Frankie “The Slumber Slasher” Kilgore and Justin “The Campground Killer” Vanderhoff – and this war is just starting to heat up!
Objective: Each player aims to defeat all others.
Army Size: 300 pts.
Time Limit: 60 minutes
Map: The Crumbling Mausoleum. The Stephens Manor and the Scrye map both make reasonable substitutes.
Setup:
Each player provides an equal number of victims,
including at least one Cop. Additional Cop tokens
should be kept in reserve. Each player’s army must
include at least one monster with the Slasher keyword.
In addition to portals and objects, each player should
place 2 tiles of hindering terrain.
Special Rules:
You Want Some of This?:
During the suspense phase, when a Cop is selected as
the chosen victim, the active player may choose not to
move it. Instead, the Cop deals 1 damage to an
adjacent monster of the active player’s choice.
Come get some!:
When a Cop is slain, another player (starting with the
player to the active player’s left) may choose to
discard any plot twist; the slaying monster will then
take 1 unpreventable damage. No points are awarded for
a monster that is killed in this way.
Undercover:
When a victim is about to be slain, roll a d6. On a 5
or 6, replace the victim with a Cop token. The active
player may then choose for the slaying attempt to
fail. If the slaying attempt continues, then for the
purposes of plot twists and powers, the Cop is treated
as being the same gender as the victim it replaced. If
the attempt fails, then on later turns it is treated
as an ordinary Cop.
Bitter Rivals:
The first Slasher each player kills is worth 50 bonus
points.
